Pleasant
Valley Sanctuary
is
located on a charming stretch of land secluded in the foothills
of Sierra Nevada in Northern California. Adjacent to state park
land, the retreat acreage includes meadows full of wild flowers,
a beautiful stream cascading over countless waterfalls, and picturesque
views of the rolling foothills that line the river canyon.

The
true beauty
of
this place, however, is the opportunity to explore the many blessings
of God centered living in a healthy and natural environment.
|
The
daily routine
includes
yoga postures, meditation, as well as morning and evening classes
on selected topics. There will be free time for exploring, hiking
and solitude.

|
Meals
consist of
lovingly
prepared vegetarian cuisine. We have a sizeable garden and rapidly
maturing orchard from which most of our food is harvested.
|
|
Accommodations include
a number of tents on platforms, roughly 10 by 10, furnished with mattresses, cots and a light. Please bring your own pillow and blanket or sleeping bag.
Also available are two, 13 foot round cabins with furnishing and electricity. Linens, blankets and towels are supplied. These are really nice!
